Retired from Organized Baseball in 2006
Currently a Police Officer at DFW International Airport
Coaching Philosophy is centered upon, the “Basic Fundamentals” of the game. I believe in playing the Game as a Team and not as an Individual. Mistakes will happen on the Baseball field, as a coach it is my responsibility to make that mistake a “Teaching Moment” through positive reinforcement and make the game “Fun” to play

Played College Baseball at Ouachita Baptist University where he played shortstop and first base. Mike earned freshman of the year honors with a .389 BA and 14HR's.
Mike has coached youth baseball for 9 seasons. He has been coaching with the Express since its inception in 2010. Coach Mike is highly respected in the coaching community having won 2 State Championships a World Series Championship along with 7 others Championships in the Spring of 2012 alone. His ability to teach the game to kids while keeping it fun is one of his greatest strengths. His knowledge of the game and passion is why he’s a key to the Express. If your son has had a bad experience with a coach or program please visit with Mike. He's helped many boys regain a "love for the game".
